Rio Freshwater
Hi! If you’re reading this, it means one of two things.
One: that you found this page by total happenstance! But that seems unlikely. So…
Two: we met somehow, someway, somewhere and you took the bait of whatever I handed you!
Whatever the case, I’m glad you’re here. And it’s not cause I’m trying to sell you anything. All’s I’m hoping to do is to spread some positivity.
If you’re here cause of a watch, think about this next time you wear it: each minute that passes is unrecoverable, and nobody knows how many more we get. If we’re lucky, we get ample minutes in a lifetime to fill all of our buckets.
But eventually, the minutes stop ticking. This used to make me really sad and anxious. But I recently went through some shit (still going through it) that pulled life into sharp focus.
Obviously, we all know how “this” all ends. But we don’t know how or when, and there’s no point in fretting about what we can’t control. So I decided to focus on what I _can_ control. And that includes using the minutes that are still ticking on my own wrist watch.
Hope this helps you think about it, too, now and then.
